ZINGZ! ART GLASS STAINED GLASS PROGRAM

 

 

 

Our Stained Glass Program consists of Beginning, Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced classes.  Classes for each skill level are 2-1/2 hours long, held on the same day, at the same time for 4 weeks.      

 

Zingz! staff will work with Students providing education and guidance as Students develop skills completing the projects.  

 

Class fees are $40 per four-week session. *

 

 

 

Part 1 - Basic Stained Glass

 

Patterns, Equipment and Cutting Glass

Part 2 - Intermediate Stained Glass

Part 3 - Intermediate/Advanced Stained Glass

 

Leaded Panel Project

 

 

Part 1 - Learn the basics for beginning stained glass projects.   Learn about glass, patterns, cutting, grinding, and soldering.  We will cover both the leaded and foil method of construction.  Students will be making a leaded project and a foiled project during class..

 

Part 2 - Continue to develop your skills.  Learn finishing techniques, cleaning and polishing.  Students will be making a leaded bevel project and a mirror project during class. 

 

Part 3 - An advanced class will be available for those students wishing to progress to more complicated projects.  We will be working on a leaded panel with 40 - 60 pieces.  Students will have the option to design their own project (subject to instructor approval). 

 

No Experience Necessary!  

 Safety will be covered.

 

Class Size is limited.

*Glass, supplies, and hand tools will be required for the class and will be purchased from the Zingz!  The use of Zingz! studio grinders and soldering irons during class is included in the class fee.
